Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the very first woman to ever win twice in CrossFit Games. Her second place finish was in both the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. From the age of a child, she was a sports and fitness fanatic. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as of 2021). She stands 5'7 tall and her weight is about 67 pounds. Annie started with her CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. Annie was able to do quite well through the first couple of matches. She was among the in the top 10 among over 70. Although she didn't achieve any title, she finished with the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second place, and also won the silver medal same year. In her second year of competition that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie, who had outstanding 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to have won both CrossFit Games. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other brands. In addition to this she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel vlogs are uploaded.
