Felicity Jones was born in Britain and is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of 12 and has been in many movies and television shows. Her first role was in the film on television The Treasure Seekers. The following year she made an appearance in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and in Weirdsisters College. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she continued to act in various other movies. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved fame for her role. It was however her character in The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar nomination for the very first time. Jones received a lot of praise by critics and fans for her performance in the role of Hawking's first wife. This film based on the life story of Stephen Hawking. Inferno, an Tom Hanks thriller was her next part. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones for the position of British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to cinema.
